Our global arts team works with the best of British creative talent to develop innovative, high-quality events and links thousands of artists and cultural institutions around the world, drawing them into a closer relationship with the UK. In Tanzania we focus on training the next generation of artistic professionals and those in the creative economy who support them.

East Africa Arts

East Africa Arts is the British Council’s framework for working between Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia and the UK.

Creative Industries

Our Skills for Creative Industry Support Services project works with partners across Tanzania to deliver training and capacity building in the creative industries.
